Drawing is the honesty of the art. There is no possibility of cheating. It is either good or bad.
Which makes me wonder what we’d do without Photoshop or any number of things that can cover up a mediocre photo’s weaknesses. Even our camera phones have effect apps that can turn any potted plant into a dreamy work of “art.” The old Electro 35 is looking good right about now. It’s loaded and ready to go. I think I’ll use it this week.
