Private, do-it-yourself, pin-up photos have always been around. Today’s naughty cell phone pic, yesterday’s set of Polaroids, a bygone era’s personal snapshots. All with the same purpose in mind, to capture and share a little sexiness for yourself and someone else.
Here’s our pseudo historical rendition of a 1960′s selfie session (pictured).
Of course, you can always get better pictures by hiring a professional. But a few quick clicks of yourself could be a fun thing to try!

The setup in this photo reminds me of an article posted to the Online Photographer in April. (http://theonlinephotographer.typepad.com/the_online_photographer/2009/04/smart-sc-snappers-shoot-canon.html)
The basic idea is that whenever a camera is depicted in a fashion shoot, it’s never a modern, digital camera, but always a cool, retro film one.
By the way, I love your blog. Keep up the good work.
Yes, putting a 5D MkII in the shot would definitely limit the picture’s range of past decades that could be portrayed.
